idiotic roadsigns!

I could bet my life that all I did was just following the ‘Kuala Lumpur’ roadsigns when I was trying to drive back from Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) to Petaling Jaya this afternoon. And guess where it brought me to?

SUNGAI LONG! BATU 11 TOLL! HULU LANGAT TOLL!

Where the hell is Hulu Langat anyway!? Nevermind that it was raining, I honestly swore that I was following the stupid road signs to the dot!

All in all I have to pay FIVE (5) tolls in order to get back to office! I mean what the f***, isn’t road signs supposed to help you go from point A to point B at the most convenient way, not the most ostensibly LONG and EXPENSIVE way? And what’s with all the trees covering the road signs or them only showing up AFTER you have to make a turn?

Took me freaking 1.5 hours to get back to office from PICC… !#)%&!)#*^!)&^!_#(%!_#&^!)^(

Somebody please get someone who’s intelligent to do the road signs PLEASE?!

I have a simple name

It goes like this… P-A-G-A-N. Only one vowel to repeat. And I don’t really care if you pronounce it the English way or the Malay = Spanish way because I understand that it is an unusual name. (I said it was simple, not ordinary) Simple, isn’t it?

NO.

Over the phone: Some people will annoying insist that my name is either Megan, Peggy, Haagen (you think my mum will named me after an ice cream brand? puh-lease), Pageant (who will named themselves pageant?), Pecan (do I look like a nut to you?), Penguin (don’t… just don’t go there), or Vivian (which part of my name sound like Vivian?).

Fine, it’s over the phone, the line might be fuzzy. I forgive you.

In person: The most fundamentally salah question: “Do you know what ‘Pagan’ means?”
The answer I’d love to give: No, I have been living with this name for eons and still, I don’t know what it means. Enlighten me. OR, if pronouncing my name proves to be too hard for you, you may call me Goddess.

In writing: Ok, I may have written like a man for all my professional email liaising, but Mr. Pagan? MR. PAGAN? Even when I have purposely put a (Ms.) at my email signature?!?!

And today, the creme de la creme - Ms. Chellapandi! Where is the connection?????

My only consolation is that the person got my gender right. Argh!

And oh, I’m irritated at myself because I have no idea why I’m having a bad day.

I’m irritated at the “stuck-in-the-rut” situation I’m in right now.
I’m irritated at the all the stupid floaters around me.
I’m irritated at the people who takes me for granted.
I’m irritated at all the things that I thought it was supposed to happen but didn’t happen.
I’m irritated at all the things that I felt like i was supposed to do but lack the guts to do it.
I’m irritated at anything that moves slowly.
I’m irritated at people who doesn’t make logical/reasonable judgment or course-of-actions.
I’m irritated at irresponsible folks who thinks only their time is precious.
I’m irritated at myself for not being able to make a decision.
I’m irritated at myself for not being able to do what I already know I should do.
I’m irritated at people who kept talking about their *same old shitty* problems over & over again, yet don’t do anything about it. (That’s why I’m irritated at myself too)
I’m irritated at people who thought that they knew everything about me. (How pompous can you be)
I’m irritated at people who act *SLOW*. Faster a bit can ah?
I’m irritated at the mess in my house.
I’m irritated at the stupid rules people make for themselves to cage themselves in.

So yeah, I had a bad day. And yeah, I’m a *SUPER* irascible person.
And right now, just don’t try to be funny with me.
