Seriously, I don’t care how the plot works, or how closely it resembles the original game. I’m too mesmerized between Jake Gyllenhaal toned bod and Gemma Arterton fabulous curvy body in “Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time” to really give a damn.
Plus, with an Academy award winning back stage team to boot, you will be totally fascinated by the fighting scenes, the dusty desert, the beautiful ladies, the cool repertoire, the snide remarks, and the awesome characters. My personal favourite character is Sheik Amar (Alfred Molina), who at one point in the movie stated “That is why we don’t pay government tax!” and the whole cinema shook with laughter. Hear, hear.
A 10/10 is given to this movie! And more Jake Gyllenhaal in the near future, please!
